Celebrating the Asmus Wedding

Our Love Story

We met behind the front office of a bustling hotel across from Notre Dame. Daniel managed the front desk staff with a calm, steady charm while Emily served guests with a sparkle that made everyone feel at home. Between busy football games and late-night room service calls, our friendship grew quietly in the rush. After some time our conversations lingered longer and the glances meant more.

A few years later, we traded guest rooms for a cozy house with sunlit windows. We adopted Misha, a shy rescue who only trusted us, and Clover, a chaotic burst of fur and joy.

Now, our days are filled with muddy paw prints, sleepy mornings, and the quiet, familiar rhythm of building a life together—one that began in a lobby, but found its home in each other.

We chose the Key Largo venue for its private five-acre property, offering a beautiful and intimate setting for a Three-Day celebration with all our family and friends!

Our citrus-inspired wedding features bold shades of orange, yellow, and pink.
Think tangerine, lemon zest, and vibrant pops of coral and watermelon.
The vibe is bright, joyful, and full of energy.

Timeline

Friday – Welcome Dinner & Pool Party
Join us at 6:30 PM for a cozy pasta dinner to begin the celebration, followed by games, good company, and a relaxed evening by or in the pool.


Saturday – Wedding Day
Our ceremony begins at 5 PM—please arrive 30 minutes early. Afterward, enjoy cocktail hour with light bites and drinks before our outdoor reception beneath an elegant white tent, complete with dancing and an open bar.


Sunday – Adventure & Farewell
Meet us at 11 AM for kayaking or paddle boarding from the private beach. Stay for a casual cookout lunch and games, an afternoon pool party, and a relaxed pizza dinner to close out the weekend together.
